Come learn some Spring Festival 汉字 (Chinese characters) and play some games with the Langara Language department at the Lunar New Year festival on Jan. 29.

Langara Global is excited to invite current students and employees to celebrate Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake on Wednesday, January 29! Learn about the different traditions of this special time of year from around the world, participate in a variety of engaging activities, and enjoy some tasty snacks! The traditional Lion Dance will once again be performed to bring prosperity and good luck to the upcoming year. Be sure to join us in front of Langara Global at 12:30 pm. Key events of note: - 12:30 pm, Lion Dance Performance by Chau Luen Athletics - 11:30 am–12:30 pm and 1:00 pm–2:00 pm, Sugar Painting with Joanna Liu No registration is required. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you there!

Language courses at Langara College include regular sessions in the language lab to improve students' experience in speaking and listening and facilitate assessment and self-assessment of oral production and pronunciation.
