What an honour to be part of the project team and co-collaborator behind the generation of this article published yesterday in the Harm Reduction Journal. Safe Inclusive Spaces was a participatory action research project (funded by Vancouver Foundation) that brought together Providence Health Care and Vancouver Area Network of Drug Users (VANDU) to explore the personal experiences of both people who use drugs and access the hospital, and health care providers who respond. Thank you to our project team, and to lead author, Aaron Bailey, and co-collaborators, VANDU Project Participants, Agnes Black, and Elizabeth Dogherty, RN, BNSc, MNSc, PhD, and Carina Marie Nilsson. I can't wait to continue our work.
