My name is AJ, I'm 34, and I'm an IELTS preparation specialist.

I've been teaching English for more than nine years and I have a strong enthusiasm and passion for it. This passion for teaching shows in my lessons, which makes preparing for IELTS with me fun and enjoyable.

Also, recently a student came to me for just three short months (as part of a language school class), and ended up scoring a very impressive band 8.5 out of a possible 9, with 8 in writing, and 9 in both listening and reading.

In recent months, a student struggled greatly with his Reading skills when he came to me for tutoring. He was practicing regularly but was unable to get above Band 4.5. With just a few lessons from me and continued practice applying the fail-proof techniques for reading, his score jumped to Band 7.5

Idiom of the day: a knight in shining armour

Meaning: If someone is a knight in shining armour, they help you when you are in a difficult situation.

For example:

Jason was my knight in shining armour. He brought food and newspapers every day until I got better.

People thought the new president was a knight in shining armour, but they soon found out he was just another politician.
