In this playful intensive, we’ll explore the key moments where improv becomes necessary and how it can be used to unlock confidence, creativity, and bold acting choices — all while having an absolute blast.

The industry is revving up again — and so are we. x present: 🍃 READY, SET, FALL! 🍃 A 4-week immersive on-camera lab that takes young performers from breakdown to onset — and beyond.

This isn’t just a class. It’s a boot camp for young performers, a playground for process, and the ultimate fall tune-up for on-camera actors who are ready to hit the ground running.

What We’re Doing:
- Week 1: THE BREAKDOWN
No lines? No problem. We’ll build the scene through visualization, physicality, eyelines, environment, and presence.
- Week 2: THE AUDITION
Let’s tape. Cold reads, script analysis, and real-time playback to sharpen instincts and make bolder choices.
- Week 3: THE CALLBACK
Now we go deeper: stronger stakes, clearer intentions, and emotionally connected performances.
- Week 4: ON-SET
We work it like it’s booked — from collaboration and redirects to hitting marks and playing for the edit.

THE MINI SCREENWRITER CREATIVITY LAB — a 3-day on-camera creativity and screenwriting lab for imaginative young storytellers ready to step into the role of writer AND performer.

Led by industry pros Athena Russell and Carolyn Yonge, this workshop empowers young actors to discover what it means to own their story—from idea to final take.

Over three hands-on days, students will:
-Learn the foundations of screenwriting
-Create original characters and write their own scenes
-Rehearse and film their work with direction and purpose

This lab is about more than just writing—it’s about owning your voice, discovering what matters to you as an artist, and building something from scratch that feels uniquely yours. So often, actors are handed a script and told what story to tell. But here, we ask: What story do YOU want to tell? What character do YOU want to play? And then -- we give them the space, tools, and support to bring it to life.

🎬 On Your Mxrk Studio Presents: Peak Performance Audition Lab!

On Your Mxrk’s first-ever on-camera audition lab is here, and we’re turning up the heat! Each week builds on the last, covering all the essential elements needed to bring a scene to life—so you can walk into any audition fully prepared and ready to book.

Over five weeks, actors will break down and build up a single scene, sharpening their skills through improv, text analysis, technical mastery, and deep emotional connection. The goal? To have a polished, on-camera performance ready to showcase in front of an industry professional special guest—while gaining the confidence and technique to crush any film or TV audition.

📆 Weekly Breakdown:

🔥 Week 1 (Apr 27 & 30) - Improv (Exploration) – Build spontaneity, adaptability & confidence.

📖 Week 2 (May 4 & 7) - Text Analysis (Discovery) – Break down scripts & make informed, authentic choices.

🎥 Week 3 (May 11 & 14) - Technical Mastery (Assemble) – Nail eyelines, framing, entrances/exits & audition presence.

💫 Week 4 (May 25 & 28) - Emotional Connection (Embody) – Strengthen relationships & deepen scene work.

🚀 Week 5 (June 1 & 4) - Industry Showcase (Ex*****on) – Perform for an industry professional.

By the end of the lab, you’ll have all the tools to make bold choices, own your frame, and deliver auditions that stand out.
