🇨🇦🤝 A Historic Partnership for Our SELC Community

We are proud to celebrate an important milestone for SELC College: a new partnership with Le Relais Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique de la Colombie-Britannique, strengthening the connection between education, community, and Francophone culture in B.C.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in June by Patrick Dang, CEO & President of SELC College, and Franklin Bouguep, Board Chairman of Le Relais Francophone, in the presence of the Honourable Adrian Dix, B.C.’s Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs.

This collaboration represents much more than an agreement—it creates new opportunities for our students to connect, collaborate, and engage with B.C.’s vibrant Francophone community.

At SELC College, we believe education extends beyond the classroom. Building meaningful community partnerships gives our students the opportunity to experience Canada’s diversity firsthand, develop stronger connections, and become active members of the communities around them.

🎉 From the skills lab to real-world care!

What began on March 2 as a classroom journey has now become the beginning of a rewarding healthcare career. 💙

Over the past months, our Health Care Assistant students developed their skills through hands-on lab training, learned alongside their classmates, and successfully completed their clinical placement at Columbus Residence, where they had the opportunity to provide compassionate care in a real healthcare environment.

A special thank you to our dedicated instructor, Kenneth Graham, for guiding and supporting our students every step of the way.

Congratulations to our HCA cohort! Your hard work, resilience, and commitment have truly paid off. We can’t wait to see the positive impact you’ll make in your communities. 🌟

⚽ What an incredible afternoon! 🧡

Yesterday, the SELC community came together to celebrate the excitement of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Semi-Final at SELC Fan Zone 2026.

From cheering for our favourite teams to meeting new friends, enjoying fun activities, and sharing unforgettable moments, the event was a wonderful reminder that our campus is about so much more than studying—it’s about building a community.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event such a success. We loved seeing so many students, staff, family members, and friends celebrating together!

✨ Last Friday, we officially launched our collaboration with The Yoga & Health Foundation.

It was an great opportunity to pause, disconnect from the routine, and reconnect with themselves through wellness activities, and meaningful conversations about stress management and self-care.

A big thank you to Yoga & Health Foundation and everyone who joined us for this special event. We look forward to continuing this partnership and bringing more wellness initiatives to the SELC community.
