Planning our big trip home and second guessing it every day. I miss home and what will it be like when we get there. What will the journey bring, we expect some parts will be rough. A challenge trip under normal circumstances is now more complex because of Covid. Uncertainty abounds. Quite the living metaphor for life!

The Marquesas are lovely. The passage was a bit longer than we would have liked due to the winds being a bit dead but the sailing between islands is some of the best we have ever done. 20kn on a broad reach. One tack. Gotta love it.

It’s challenging as there is always something to do and less time for play than you might think but so far it’s worth all the work and the planning.

We are finding our groove. Hanging out in San Blas Mexico. I am limping a little and happy that I can walk that well having taken a tumble on my bike on Christmas Day and ended up in Emergency one more time. This time good news! A sprained tendon. I am now committed to workouts on the boat. Way safer!
