The Student Art + Placemaking Fund invites UBC Vancouver students to reimagine space on campus and transform them through public art.
If you're inspired by the campus environment, and want to create work that sparks conversation, exploration, and connection to campus, this is your opportunity!
With up to $2,500 in funding available through the generous support of Donors, this fund supports student-led projects that explore how art can shape the public realm and make space for others to feel, to think, and to take action. Last year's selected work explored the dynamics of play through a series of activations co-created with the community.
We’re looking for ideas rooted in place, community, and creative expression — whether it’s a temporary outdoor art installation, a performance art, or a small scale placemaking project.
Bring your vision to life and apply today at (link in bio): https://inspired.ubc.ca/studentart
