UBC ASCE Student Chapter

UBC ASCE is the student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers at the University of British Columbia.

Student memberships are free through the ASCE website! UBC ASCE provides professional development opportunities for UBC engineering students. Our event topics include industry member presentations, professional licensure, and software tutorials. We also support UBC Concrete Canoe in attending ASCE competitions, and will be hosting the ASCE Pacific Northwest Student Conference at UBC in 2022!

This year’s panel brings together leaders in engineering education, sustainability, ethics, and professional practice. With diverse backgrounds, Dr. Tamara Etmannski, Ms. Pamela Wolf, and Dr. Zeina Baalbaki offer thoughtful perspectives on this year’s topic: “Engineering the Public Welfare”
