The SPCA are not what they say, and it is great to see folks out there gathering receipts. We must encourage them to do right by animals by laying charges against criminal abusers and not criminalizing advocates, to stop dumping animals on other rescues and shelters after collecting thousands in donations for their own coffers, and to just generally do what they say they are meant to do- by actually protecting animals.

yeah, these "animal athletes" are just absolutely so into this "sport."

rodeo is literal hell filled with screaming devils and torturers to animals. never support the rodeo, or any event linked to it. they are all starting to show signs of failure. make. them. fail. boycott rodeos, rodeo sponsored events. yes- even concerts amd the midway. no go- no show. tell others. remind them that rodeo is not family fun or tradition. Its unspeakable abuse and exploitation of innocent defenseless animals who just want it to stop.

Today, the country of Columbia is banning bullfighting- the slow, cruel, and public killing of bulls. They cite changing attitudes to the experience of animals used in these activities. Congratulations for showing some compassion to bulls, Columbia.

Like all so called sports or institutions predicated on abusive exploitation and killing of animals for nothing more than our selfish entertainment, it's time to universally kick these type of awful traditions into the past NOW. boycott rodeos, animal racing, zoos, aquariums, pet stores selling purpose-bred animals, and even hypocritical 'welfarist' organizations like BCSPCA who under- enforce weak laws in these self accrediting industries. We should move in favour of strong, decisive advocacy and true protections for all animals. Let's support those who take decisive actions to protect.

and let's hope Columbia's boldness is contagious to Ecuador, France, Spain, Portugal, Peru, Venezuela, and Mexico- who still allow bullfighting.

After hearing the Excelsior 4 who exposed horrific, criminal animal abuse and were then turned in and criminalized by the supposed animal protection agency BC SPCA Vancouver have lost their appeal and now will go to jail for what was a non violent protest-

i hope we all reflect on the callous actions of the SPCA, and how the justice system has no justice for people exposing clear abuse unless they can earn donations from their plight. our supposed right to protest, the victim's right to justice, and the greater systems of government are inextricably linked to supporting criminals within industry who use the system meant to protect their victims to ruin the lives of actually caring people.

, we will NEVER allow you to forget this cruel intrusion into the lives of those you are supposed to align with. you broke your own confidentiality policy to go out of your way to jail and abuse people with no criminal record, no violent acts, people who are upstanding citizens- in order to side with repeated criminal abusers thay you refuse to even investigate. disgusting.

The Vancouver Aquarium is opening a secret? exhibit tomorrow that features achievements in conservation, and celebrates the "contribution" zoos and aquariums have made to "saving" different species. While these tokenized species may have had very casual involvement from zoos in some way, zoos do measurable, observable, tremendous harm to individual species they imprison and are not a significant contributor to true global conservation of any kind. Zoos do help conservation-focussed people sound like a broken record in reminding folks that habitat protection is what drives successful conservation, not needlessly imprisoning animals for profit.

In my opinion, this is another desperate PR mission cooked up by CAZA, whose facilities' incredibly poor track records are being exposed by activists and boycotted by consumers.

Don't buy the conservation lie of zoos and aquariums. We don't need to keep sad dying animals captive to appreciate them and want to help them.
