Weekly Workshops for Young Performers (Squishmallows)
The workshop would be held once a week for two hours, providing children ages 7 to 12 with an engaging environment to develop their voice and acting skills. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, participants will explore vocal and acting techniques tailored to their unique talents. Each child will have the opportunity to connect with their favorite Squishmallow characters, as the workshop culminates in a vibrant musical theatre production. The story, centered around a magical sleepover, promises to ignite creativity, collaboration, and confidence among young performers, ensuring that each participant feels valued and inspired throughout the process.
A Musical Journey with Squishmallows
As part of the final production, every child will have their own song that highlights their favorite Squishmallow, creating a personalized experience that resonates with them. The narrative of the sleepover allows for a rich tapestry of themes, from friendship and imagination to adventure and teamwork. By combining music and storytelling, the production aims to enchant both performers and audiences alike, making it a memorable event. This unique blend of individual expression and collective storytelling will not only showcase the children’s newfound skills but also foster a sense of community and belonging through the magic of theatre and the beloved Squishmallows.

Everyone has a song inside them just waiting to escape, so why not let those vocal cords stretch their wings in a singing workshop specifically designed for the fabulous over-55 crowd?
After all, singing isn’t just a birthright; it’s a delightful way to boost your health and confidence while belting out your favourite tunes—who knew that hitting those high notes could come with such marvellous side effects?
Imagine you playing the part of Patsy Cline, belting out "Crazy" with Dolly Parton right by your side—yes, you heard that right, the Queen of Country herself!
What If? It’s not just a title; it’s your ticket to a world where living singers get to jam with legendary icons who have taken their final bows.
Picture the backstage banter, the sparkly costumes, and the chance to channel your inner Cline while sharing the stage with Parton—talk about a duet for the ages!
This is your moment to step into the spotlight, blending the past and present in a musical mash-up that will have audiences laughing, crying, and wishing they had a time machine.
So grab your cowboy boots and your sass because in the whimsical world of What If?, anything is possible—especially a show-stopping collaboration that defies the laws of time and space!
Singing is not a birthright; it’s more like a quirky talent that can sprout from your environment.
If you can speak, congratulations! You have the basic toolkit for belting out a tune—just add enthusiasm and a sprinkle of courage.
Non-singers often forget that their vocal cords were designed for more than just ordering coffee and complaining about the weather.
Negative comments can be the kryptonite of a budding singer, so let’s keep the discouragement at bay and let those notes fly!
After all, a little off-key warbling is just a step on the path to finding your unique sound—embrace it!
Who knows? With the right encouragement, you might just discover that your shower concerts have been training for a Grammy all along!
Breathing through the mouth might seem like a simple task, but with the rebirth technique, it becomes an art form that requires finesse—almost like mastering the perfect pizza toss!
Adjusting your jaw is not just for those awkward family photos; in the realm of rebirth, it plays a crucial role in how you channel the air flowing through your lungs.
Imagine your breath as a symphony, where the range is dictated by how well you can tweak your jaw and let the air waltz in and out—it's a musical masterpiece waiting to happen!
With the rebirth technique, it’s all about finding that sweet spot; too tight and you’re gasping like a fish out of water, too loose and you might just start to sound like a whoopee cushion!
Who knew that the secret to mastering your breath could be as simple as adjusting your jaw? It's like tuning a guitar, but instead of music, you get relaxation and a sense of zen!
In a world where breathing is often overlooked, the Rebirth Technique reminds us that even babies take the most effortless breaths—from their adorable little abdomens right up to their chubby cheeks.
Who knew that mastering the art of breathing could be as simple as mimicking a baby, all while ensuring there's no forcing involved?
The beauty of the Rebirth Technique lies in its insistence on natural breathing, inviting us to relax and let our bodies do what they do best, like a baby snoozing in a sunbeam.
If only adult life came with a manual on how to breathe like a baby—abdominal to the chest and completely carefree!
With the Rebirth Technique, the only thing you need to force is a smile as you rediscover the joy of natural, flowing breaths!
It turns out that the secret to mastering breathing is to embrace the art of doing absolutely nothing—just like a baby does, blissfully unaware of the world's chaos.
Breathing should be as effortless as a baby's giggle, and the Rebirth Technique is here to remind us that sometimes, less really is more!
Why need to be reminded of the words of Anne Frank during these dire times? Keep an eye open to a new musical called What If? Anne Frank came back today. Guess what? She would see a similar situation as if she was living back during the N**i era,
Having participated in children's festivals for many years and seen children from all different backgrounds come together under one banner, singing over fighting, I thought I would bring this to the attention of certain people who want to take over the world.
Have you ever thought of introducing your original music by incorporating it with cover tunes? I am presently teaching my songwriters that to have people listen to your original music you may lead them by doing a cover tune musical theatre production. Here is a good example. One of my writers writes in the style of Cold Play. He has now produced an acoustic evening of Cold Plays music along with the story of Cold Play and their music. At the end of the show, he then performs his music, which people are more responsive to it since he performed Cold Play. For short, it is leading the horse to water. Also, these shows are attended by all ages since they are concerts being performed in churches where people want to see and hear a performance without have drunks making noise. What are your thoughts? Please feel free to contact me at [email protected]
You've heard the expression no man is an island. Now, it should be no person is an island. Now, I believe that to succeed in the music business, one must collaborate with others from different cultures and languages or different genres. An example is an R&B artist approached me with his original music and thought I would be impressed. I told him I receive this material daily. So what? I then gave him the idea to have some of his choruses in Mandarin, and that was five years ago. Guess what? he is still performing in China. No different than Jason Derulo and Tesher doing a combination of Hollywood meets Bollywood. Remember, North America is not the centre of the world. Maybe meet up with a partner who sings in Spanish. Now that's a huge market.
