Kick by kick, punch by punch, we’re helping make our kids safer, stronger, and more confident—at school, at home, and out in the world.
At the Purple Dragon Dojo, we live by a different creed. We train children to become disciplined, respectful, focused—and capable of protecting themselves if they ever have to.
Let’s be honest: bullying, intimidation, and unsafe situations are showing up more and more in everyday life. And when it comes to our children, “hoping it never happens” isn’t a plan. Preparation is a plan.
That’s why Purple Dragon is not just recreation anymore—it’s Re-creation.
We’re rebuilding confidence. Restoring courage. Training calm minds and strong bodies.
You’ve raised your child to be kind. To not be a bully. To do the right thing. Good. We honor that.
But being a good child should never mean being a target. Our kids must learn this truth:
“I am not anyone’s punching bag—mentally, emotionally, or physically.”
Not from school bullies. Not from street bullies. Not from anyone close to them.
In many schools today, children can feel trapped—afraid to speak up, afraid to defend themselves, afraid of “getting in trouble.” That fear can make them vulnerable. Purple Dragon training helps your child learn the right steps, in the right order:
1. Avoid danger when possible.
2. Use your voice: “LEAVE ME ALONE!”
3. Get help—teachers, principals, parents, trusted adults.
4. Create distance—move, escape, run, and get safe.
5. Document and report when appropriate—use a phone if possible to alert parents or authority.
6. Defend yourself only as a last resort—when there is no other option and safety is on the line.
This is what we teach in the Purple Dragon Dojo: control, awareness, smart choices, and self-defense when everything else fails. We teach children to keep their hands up to protect their head, to block, to move, to breathe, and to think under pressure—so panic doesn’t make decisions for them.
So yes—there’s no reason for your child to skip classes.
Consistency builds confidence. Training builds ability. And ability builds safety.
Don’t let your child grow up in fear.
Let them grow up prepared.
