Regent College invites applications for the open-rank faculty position of the Loren and Mary Ruth Wilkinson Chair of Interdisciplinary Studies, to begin on August 1, 2027. Review of applications will begin on November 1, 2026.

The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in a theological discipline as well as a doctorate in another field in the humanities or sciences, and will have a deep understanding of and sympathy for the evangelical biblical and theological intellectual traditions.

September 30 is Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, Regent College joins those remembering the history and ongoing impact of residential schools in Canada and considers how we may participate in the ongoing process of reconciliation.

As a Christian learning community, we've made a commitment to engage with our Indigenous neighbours and to recognize the role the church has played in the history of Canada’s relationship with Indigenous peoples. Our students, staff, and faculty are participating in activities such as a special Chapel service focused on truth and reconciliation, as well as UBC’s Intergenerational March. We encourage members of the larger Regent community to reflect and engage in learning opportunities that are available to them.

We’re thrilled to celebrate MATS student Samuel Pang, Assistant Professor of Music and the Director of Orchestras at Hope College, MI, along with his orchestra, for receiving the American Prize in Orchestral Programming for 2026.

Samuel shares his gratitude toward Regent College for playing a role in his ability to design the concert program, which involved receiving a vision from God during a nap—what he deems the most bizarre process of his music career.

The Regent College community is profoundly saddened by the death of Rev. Dr. Jonathan Wilson, a dear friend of the College whose presence and voice will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him over his many years of close association with Regent.

A memorial service to remember Jonathan’s life and give thanks to God will be held at West Point Grey Baptist Church on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 3pm. All are welcome. The service will be livestreamed; link and information can be found on our tribute webpage linked below.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Marv Franz as the new Chair of the Regent College Board of Governors. Marv previously served as the Board’s Vice-Chair. Outgoing Board Chair Earl Phillips, KC, will continue to serve on the Board as the new Vice-Chair. This transition has been planned over the past several months to ensure a smooth succession and continuity in the life and work of the Board.
