Thank you to everyone who joined us at Launch Builders Demo Night this week. This was our second event after a long pause, and honestly — there’s nothing better than seeing a room full of people building great products, asking thoughtful questions, and sticking around long after the presentations end because they genuinely enjoy connecting with each other.
Global Relay — thank you once again for opening your space to the Vancouver tech community!
To our six presenters — thank you for showing what you’re building. It takes courage to get on stage and demo your product in front of a live audience, and you all delivered fantastic presentations.
A huge thank-you to our amazing volunteers, the CaterDash catering team, and most of all — to everyone who showed up. Founders, builders, operators, dreamers, and supporters — this community is what makes Launch Builders special.
🚀 We’ll see you at the next Launch Builders on April 29, 2026. Early bird tickets go on sale March 25.
Want to demo your product? Check the link in the comments and apply by April 12.
Until then — keep building.

Our CEO, Ray Walia, is currently on a business trip in San Francisco — a good opportunity to see what Launch founders are building beyond Vancouver.
This week included moments from:
– a Google Gemini meetup
– the Super Bowl event at the House of AI in San Francisco
– an AI meetup on Building AI Agents for the Real World
– and a catch-up with some of our alumni, including a chance to hear Francis Doumet’s pitch and see the progress the Metaspectral team is making.

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday season!
As the Launch team gets back to work in Vancouver — and Camille works from France — our CEO, Ray Walia, is starting the year on the ground in Vietnam 🇻🇳.
Ray just spent time with one of our Maple Companies, JavaLoop, in Da Nang — always inspiring to see how global the Launch community truly is.

CEO Ray Walia and Program Manager Camille Bonnet — now based in France — reconnected at SaaStr London after a long stretch of working across continents 🇬🇧
The energy at was incredible: high-momentum sessions, honest founder conversations, and the chance to connect with leaders like Jason Lemkin, whose insights continue to shape the global SaaStr community. We loved meeting new founders, reconnecting with partners, and being part of the vibrant London startup scene.
Here are a few snapshots from the week.
