Celebrating another special milestone at ILSC! 🎓🇨🇦🇮🇹

We recently celebrated the graduation of students visiting Canada through our partnership with Orca Education in Italy.

Orca Education has brought groups of students to ILSC centres across Canada, accompanied by teachers who support them throughout their learning and cultural exchange experience.

Their time at ILSC is about much more than studying English. It is an opportunity to experience life in Canada, connect with people from different backgrounds, build confidence, and take new memories home with them.

Congratulations to our graduating students, and a special thank you to the teachers who helped make the experience possible. 👏

Another Green Card Raffle at ILSC Melville Campus! 💚

The Green Card activity encourages students to keep speaking English not only in class, but throughout the campus.

Students who are recognized speaking English can receive a Green Card from our staff, submit it at the Front Desk, and receive an entry into the weekly raffle.

Last Friday, we celebrated our latest draw and another group of students making English part of their everyday campus experience. 🎉

Keep speaking, keep practicing, and your next conversation could earn you a Green Card! 💬

At ILSC, English learning continues beyond the classroom.

Students who make an effort to speak English in the school’s common areas may be recognized with an ILSC Green Card. Each Green Card can be exchanged for one entry into our weekly prize raffle.

Students write their name and student ID on their raffle ticket, place it in the draw, and winners are selected every Friday at the Melville Campus entrance hall.

This activity encourages students to use English in everyday conversations, build their confidence, and connect with classmates from around the world.

Looking for a practical and engaging way to improve your English?

ILSC’s Café Work Skills elective course gives students the opportunity to develop barista-related skills while learning the English commonly used in cafés and customer-service environments.

Students can build their vocabulary, practise workplace communication, learn about coffee preparation, and gain confidence using English in a practical setting.

Students interested in taking the course can speak with the ILSC team for information about availability and registration. ☕

Love soccer and want a different way to practise English?

ILSC’s English Through Soccer elective course helps students develop their language skills through soccer-related vocabulary, discussions, and engaging classroom activities.

It is an opportunity to build communication skills, gain confidence using English, and connect with classmates through a shared interest in the game.
