The TREK students visited the landfill site in Delta and Iona Park to learn more about land use and waste management systems.
While the students toured the landfill, they learned about the falcon program to reduce impacts on the bird population and learned how waste is reduced for the residents of Metro Vancouver. When the students visited Iona Park, they learned about the space, and they had the chance to reflect from their day on the beach.
