Hey folks. Health Initiative for Men is looking for a volunteer to drive food donations from Powell to a s*x work support drop-in space in the West End (near the Davie St Health Centre) at around 3pm. $25 honoraria. If you are a resident of the Vancouver inner city who is homeless or a resident of a shelter, SRO, or supported housing, you are eligible to receive your first dose of the COVID19 vaccination TODAY from 10am-5pm at Carnegie Centre, 401 Main Street. This clinic will operate on a drop in basis, so no appointment is necessary.
All clinic locations include:
- Carnegie Centre, 401 Main St, 10am-5pm
- Pender Community Health Centre, 59 West Pender St, 10am-4pm
- Downtown Community Health Centre, 569 Powell St, 10am-4pm
- Union Gospel mission, 601 East Hastings, 9am-4pm

sold s3x in the past 6 months? We want to hear from you!
What is the research?
The Centre for Gender and S*xual Health Equity is doing research on the health and safety of men (cisgender and transgender), non-binary, and Two-Spirit people in the s3x industry in Metro Vancouver. We want to know about issues you face doing SW and how current SW laws have impacted you. Our goal is to
help inform programs and polices that support men in the s3x industry.
What does it involve?
A confidential in-depth interview lasting 1-2 hours, in person, over the phone, or online. You will receive a $40 honorarium in appreciation of your time and expertise
Who can participate?
We are interested in talking to men, non-binary, and Two-Spirit people who have sold s3x in the past 6 months or who have exchanged s3x for food, shelter, or drugs in the past 6 months.
