Tom Thumb Parent Involvement Preschool Tom Thumb Preschool has a long history of providing quality care for young children in Dunbar and the surrounding community.

Tom Thumb Preschool is a special place for children and their parents to discover the importance of play, the fun of learning and the joy of being part of a community of families. Tom Thumb is a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools in B.C., an umbrella organization that supports and assists preschools in providing a high standard of preschool education. Our Philosophy:
A Learning Community for Children and Adults. Where children are valued for their ability to do meaningful work, their wonder and curiosity, their perspectives, and their ability to play. Where families are valued for their bonds and traditions, their ability to play, their commitment to work, home and community and their dreams for their children. Where teachers are valued for their vision, their delight in children, their skill, heart and knowledge, their commitment to families and their ability to play. We cherish what we learn from each other.

Tom Thumb Preschool is now shutting down after 70 years of successfully running.

We must remove ALL the materials from our classrooms. We have lots of toys, a Lego table, a love seat, books, baby food jars, blankets, felt, puzzles, games, crafts, school supplies, storage bins, dress up stuff, baby dolls, musical instruments, a gymnastic set, and much more!!

On Saturday September 9th, from 12pm-6pm there will be an open house at Tom Thumb 3737 W 27th Ave in Dunbar.

Please come take a look at these materials. Please bring a bag and take as many things as you’d like. This is all by donation!!!!!

We are located in the downstairs portion of St. Philip's Anglican Church. Please feel free to spread the word!
