We got A!

East Van Kids is happy to announce
that our Art Program will be delivered
by Reynato Pablo Artworks Studio.

Reynato Pablo has been serving
East Van as a community art educator
at selected community centers.

He is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists
and Dimasalang III International Group of Artists.

Rey has exhibited his artwork at several shows in Vancouver
including at ExplorAsian (Asian Cultural Heritage Week),
Philippine Consulate Vancouver, and at the Migrante-BC Pancit art collective show at UBC.

Afterschool program runs Mondays thru Fridays from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, with the following options: full week (M-F), flexible partial week (choose your days), single and drop-in lessons.

SCWIST x Science Literacy Week: Climate and Adaptability 09/16/2021

Join SCWIST for a 3-day online event for Science Literacy Week!

The theme this year is climate. From September 21 to 23, we will be investigating this topic.

We will be hosting three one-hour sessions discussing different topics relating to climate and adaptations using hands-on activities.

September 21: 9:30am-10:30am
September 22: 9:30am-10:30am
September 23: 9:30am-10:30am
Sessions will be hosted live on Zoom and pre-recorded activity videos will be made available to all registrants.

The event is specifically catered to students of grades 2-7, but open to members of the general public as well. Our presenters will talk about the water cycle, polar bears and food chains. By registering via Eventbrite, you are registering for all three sessions.
