TWFF Sneak Peek: Ode to Time

"In the history of Taiwanese popular music and culture, folk songs were wake-up calls in the search for one’s identity.”

Legendary musicians from the Taiwanese folk-rock scene of the 1970s reunite after 40 years for a big concert. Will their songs move the younger generation? Ode to Time captures the past and current lives of the musicians, intermingling social and political themes like the China-Taiwan relationship and the influence of American culture.

LE proudly presents the photos from this year's Ministudio: Momentum. All photographs belong to their respective photographers, credits are listed in the image description. Tag people you recognize! We would like everyone who participated to be able to see these!

For this year, we had two themes:

'Motion'
The emphasis will be on the motion of the models, with photographers challenged to capture a still moment rife with the tension of movement.

'Emotion'
Models remained still while expressing emotion through their bodies. Photographers will be challenged to work with a darkened room while trying to capture the dynamic potential in a still image.
