A beautiful day in Victoria! 🌟

Our students spent the day exploring some of British Columbia’s most iconic landmarks, including the Royal BC Museum and the BC Parliament Buildings.

Through hands-on experiences, historical exploration, and time spent together as a school community, students gained a deeper appreciation for the history, culture, and government of our province.

Thank you to all students, teachers and staff for making this a memorable day!

Japanese Culture Expo 🇯🇵✨

A lovely afternoon of culture, creativity, and connection.
Our students had such a great time exploring Japanese calligraphy, origami, traditional snacks, and learning more about Japanese culture together.

A big thank you to the students and teachers from Ohzora High School for the warm invitation and wonderful experience 👍

This Earth Day, Lowell High School was proud to partner with the City of Vancouver for our Neighborhood Cleanup Party, walking from Yaletown Roundhouse to English Bay in support of a cleaner and more sustainable city.

We were also pleased to welcome visiting students from Ohzora High School in Japan to join us in this meaningful event. Bringing students together through environmental action made the day even more special, as we worked across cultures toward a shared goal of caring for our community and planet.

Proud moment for Lowell Team at the Vancouver Sun Run 2026 yesterday! 🥳

Some joined the running team, while others helped out as volunteers at gear check.

Nice to see everyone getting involved, whether on the course or supporting behind the scenes.

Today, our students took action for Pink Shirt Day 💗

Through three scenario-based workshops, students explored real-life situations related to bullying, online safety, and respectful communication. They discussed how to respond, support others, and make thoughtful choices in challenging moments.

We then came together to create our Handprint Pledge Wall, where students left their mark as a commitment to kindness, empathy, and accountability. Kind messages and words of encouragement filled the board, and this is a reminder that small actions can create a stronger community.

Kindness is not passive. It’s a decision we make every day.

Semester 2 is officially kicking off, and we’re excited to introduce our clubs for this term 🥳

Our AI & Robotics Club gives students hands-on experience with coding, robotics, and emerging technologies, encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and real-world application of AI concepts.

Our Sustainability Club focuses on environmental awareness in action, with students exploring sustainability issues, researching solutions, and working collaboratively to create meaningful impact within their community.
