In 2008 I started teaching yoga to adults and music classes for small children with West Side Music Together. A few years later I taught myself to play ukulele, and now I find myself teaching this most joyful (and easy) instrument to others. I'm busking this Saturday from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Riley Park Farmers Market . Come by and say hi, maybe sing along or clap your hands, and of course buy some beautiful food from local farmers and food vendors.

I had to cancel tonight's Level 2 ukulele class. 😞 It's only the 2nd time in my more than 7 years of teaching ukulele, so I guess that's not bad. It's just a chest cold and I'm sure I'll be better soon. But coughing my way through an hour of ukulele teaching seemed like a bad idea.
