VCC Learning Centre

Learning Centre staff had a great time at Welcome Days meeting our new and returning VCC students. Students played quiz games with us, guessed the number of pages in a notebook stack, and learned a lot about how they can get help at our Broadway and Downtown Learning Centres. Both the Broadway and Downtown VCC Learning Centres will be closed from Dec 22nd through Jan 1st.
The Downtown Learning Centre will reopen on Friday, January 2nd, 2026 and the Broadway Learning Centre will reopen on Monday, January 5th, 2026.

If you're visiting the Broadway Learning Centre this upcoming week, please be aware that our hours have temporarily shifted to be slightly earlier! The Downtown Learning Centre will remain open as scheduled through Friday Dec 19. Please check our WCOnline schedule for tutoring availability at vcc.mywconline.com

Details for Broadway Learning Centre: from Monday Dec 15 through Thursday Dec 18, we will be open from 9am to 5pm. On Friday Dec 19, we will be open from 9am to 4 pm. From Monday Dec 22 onwards until the New Year, we will be closed.

Don't worry, both Learning Centres will reopen next year! Downtown Learning Centre will reopen on Jan 2, 2026 and Broadway Learning Centre will reopen on Jan 5, 2026!

One week to go before WriteAway closes for the break on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025. Go to writeaway.ca, where you can upload your assignments for feedback and ask your writing questions!

WriteAway will return in January. If you require additional writing resources, visit our 'Learning Centre English Resources: Writing' page. You can also make face-to-face or online appointments with our friendly English tutors.

WriteAway is now open for the term! VCC students can submit their writing through WriteAway.ca for free, fast, and friendly feedback from real people. After you receive feedback, you can send in your revised assigment up to two more times for even more writing help. Have questions about the service?
