Hi Leaders! The announcement about the deadline for the Program Mentor position was wrong...the deadline is MONDAY Sept. 19th at 3:30pm. Don't forget to be checking your emails on a daily basis now too :)

Happy first day of school everyone!!

The CST will be doing our regular afterschool programs as well as Saturday MoreSports. We also are looking for piano instructors who have a conservatory level of grade 8 or higher. Please share this information with your friends who are interested in joining CST this year.

We will be handing out returning leader forms today (Tuesday) and tomorrow (Wednesday) in the CST office (rm. 109).

Please come get yours as soon as possible because they are due back by Friday Sept. 9th at 3:30pm.

I am excited as always for a new school year, and I look forward to seeing you all again :)

Hi All! Tomorrow is your leader appreciation party!!! It starts at 3pm in the cafeteria. There will be a competition to see who wins the "CST Cup" so please come as soon as possible after the bell. There will be food, cake, juice, and a photo booth among other things. Hope to see you ALL there :)

Hi Grade 12’s,

It’s so exciting to be this close to graduating! I know this time of year can be demanding of your time (and possibly your sanity ) but please remember your commitment to CST. If you have Grad activities, or Grad Night falls on one of your program days, we still need you to show up. If you don’t think you can make it, please arrange for a sub and let your programmer know.

I am so proud of you all and can’t wait to celebrate with you at our year-end party on June 14th!

Hello Leaders!

We are still looking for Rec n’ Read leaders for our summer program and tomorrow is the last day to get your application in!

Please note that depending on performance, there will be an honorarium ($$$) awarded at the end of the session.

Information:
Mandatory Training Dates: June 30th (3hrs) July 4th (1.5hrs)
Program Dates and Times: July 5th-29th (Tues-Fri) 8:30am-2:30pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of the recreation activities
- Running different literacy stations in the morning session ( you will be trained by the teacher)
- Supervising recess, lunchtime, and afternoon recreation activities (under the direction of your programmer)
- Accompanying the group on out-trips to parks and/or the library
If you are interested in applying, and you are available for the times listed above, please bring a resume to me (Tara) in the CST office. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, May 18th at 3:30pm.

Hello Leaders!

It’s getting close to that time of year again when we celebrate you as the AMAZING leaders that you are!

DATE: June 14th
TIME: 3:05pm-5:00-ish
LOCATION: DT Cafeteria

This year’s theme is “Roll out The Red Carpet” so come dressed in your best glam look (if you want.)
There will be food, a photo booth, prizes, and special activities that will result in a winner of the newly formed “CST Cup”!!

Everyone MUST RSVP before Wednesday, May 25th at 3:30pm. If you don’t RSVP, there might not be enough food or prizes for everyone.
To RSVP you can send me an email, or sign up in the CST office.

Just a reminder that programs start this week. Please make sure you are in contact with all your co-leaders and that you know who is packing and taking ED’s. Feel free to come by the office if you have any questions.

REMEMBER: You are expected to be at EVERY PROGRAM. If you can’t make it for ANY reason, you must inform your programmer, and find a sub. We are running programs with the least amount of leaders possible and if you do not come to your program, we may have to cancel it.

I am excited for the last term of programs and I hope you are too!
