WHAT TO EXPECT
UBC Cheerleading will be fielding one team in 2017/2018 year. The team will practice twice per week. The team will have appearances at basketball games and football games. The team also competes in one or two cheerleading competitions per year. GO THUNDERBIRDS!

What do all of these worlds competitors have in common? They were all T-Birds! Many of these alumni started their cheer career on the mats of our Osborne gym.
We are so incredibly proud of these birds who have flown off to represent so many outstanding programs (including the Canadian national team!) and a big congratulations to every worlds medalist amongst these grads.
It’s never too late to become a worlds level athlete 🌎💙.

Please make sure you read and respond ASAP to hold your spot. If you applied to the developmental program you will receive an email by the end of the day. If you missed the application and are wanting to try out for our premier program send us an email and we will try and make space for you.
We are one week away from our first clinic, and first time in the gym since 2020! The count down is ON.

ITS OFFICIAL! WE. ARE. BACK.
After spending a season away from our teammates and watching some of our T-birds fly away to grad school we are so excited to be back in business!
It’s time for a new season, with new coaching staff, and a brand new roster.
Please fill out the Google Form in our bio to register for tryouts and to pick your clinic date. We will then email you with everything you need to know before the clinic. All clinic’s and try outs will be at 6108 Thunderbird Blvd at the Osborne Centre.
We are looking for ALL GENDERS. UBC Cheer is an inclusive environment, please contact us if you have any accessibility needs. We will work with you to make your tryout experience seamless and enjoyable.

Clinic pricing is as follows:
1 clinic = $10
2 clinics = $15
ALL 5 clinics = $35

We are SO proud of this T-bird for graduating last night. has been an incredible leader and athlete in our program. She brought light and laughter to every practice and we can’t wait to see where life takes her. We miss you already Teala!

Wow!! Big year for UBC! So many new athletes and a new coach joined our program! Our comp team made the jump from level 4 to level 6! Our ambassadors doubled in size and put on some incredible performances!
While we're sad that this season is over, we can't wait to see what next season has in store!
Big shout out to everyone who made this all possible. Our alumni, who keep us in their hearts and support us along the way. The other collegiate teams, who challenge us to push ourselves and encourage us. UBC athletics, who took a chance on us and our sport. All of our volunteers, who gave more than their time, but also their passion to help when they could. And of course, our fans, we couldn't do what without their endless spirit and support.
We vow to honour the love and energy you have all given us and to keep up our passion and dedication for next season!
