Congratulations to Joanne Acasio and the incredible singers of Koro Pacifico on this past Saturday night’s Dapithapon concert! Joanne, a Filipino soprano, UBC-trained conductor, and one of our own Symphonic Choir section leads, founded Koro Pacifico in 2025 with a vision to bring the full richness of Filipino choral music to Vancouver. Anita Espiritu, another Symphonic Choir chorister, also sings in Koro Pacifico. From Luzon to Visayas to Mindanao, this ensemble celebrates it all. We are so proud to see this community flourishing! 🇵🇭🎶

Join the Board of the Vancouver Bach Choir!

The VBFC is seeking a volunteer Treasurer to join our Board of Directors! Now entering our 96th season, VBC is a vibrant family of choirs dedicated to inspiring joy through choral music and supporting emerging local artists.

We’re looking for someone with financial/accounting experience who values collaboration, organization, and community impact. Previous board experience is not required.

• 5–10 hours/month
• Flexible electronic signing responsibilities
• Opportunity to support a thriving arts organization in Vancouver
