Our Artistic Director, Aaron Craven, is this month's Member Spotlight for the Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance. Read the piece here: gvpta.ca/member-spotlights/aaron-craven

In it, Aaron talks about why theatre matters right now, the story behind his play Instantaneous Blue, and his advice for artists just entering the field:

"Theatre is AI-proof. You can't synthesize a live performance — the risk of it, the fact that anything could go wrong… That's not a flaw to engineer out. That's the entire point."

Read the full spotlight:

Thank you, GVPTA - Greater Vancouver Professional Theatre Alliance, for championing Vancouver's theatre community. Our biggest season yet opens next month with Aaron directing the western Canadian premiere of Amy Herzog's Mary Jane, Oct 23 – Nov 1 at Studio 16. 🎟️
