Introducing our First Year Rep, Bella Chan✨ Bella is a first-year student who has yet to decide what she wants to specialize in. She was born and raised in Vancouver and can speak 5 different languages. She is an absolute night owl and can naturally and very happily sleep for 12+ hours if she doesn't have anything to do the next morning. The creators of Google Calendar have her whole heart but she also loves all Asian cuisines, travelling, and hiking. She decided to join CMP to ensure others in her year can be made aware of the resources available to help them ace first year. Bella is very excited to be a part of this year's CMP team!

Jessalyn’s tips for the midterm exam:
✏️ Draw your graphs! Most often than not, having a clear and well-labeled graph already brings you halfway to the answer.
✏️ Study by teaching the concepts to yourself in simple words.
✏️ Avoid wasting too much time on multiple choice questions! Save the questions you don’t know for later and make sure you have enough time for long answer questions since they are usually worth the most points. RSVP to our ECON 101 Review Session by clicking the link in our bio! 🤗

Benjamin’s tips for the midterm exam:
✏️ Real mastery comes with application! Revising only shows you functions at face value, while challenging yourself with practice questions shows you possibilities you wouldn’t have thought of initially.
✏️ Treat your functions as tools in your arsenal and think flexibly! You can use operators, other functions, and even the same function as inputs, so long as their data types are accurate.
✏️ Think with the end in mind! What are you trying to get and what function(s) can get you there?
