Thank you to all the UBC United Way volunteers! Today we are focussing on celebrating the accomplishments of the nearly 300 volunteers and results of the annual campaign

2023 UBC United Way Campaign Chair Michelle Tan recently had the opportunity to thank volunteers and mentioned that UBC United Way volunteers have “made a difference for our community. All of you contributed to helping the life of a vulnerable family or individual.”

During National Volunteer Week 2024, we come together to recognize and celebrate the importance of each and every volunteer’s impact. Now more than ever, Every Moment Matters.

We recognize that many of the UBC United Way volunteers spend time at their desks and in meetings to plan their events and initiatives for the UBC United Way Campaign. While we know these moments may feel ordinary, the moments we spend planning are able to make tremendous difference to those in our community. Every Moment Matters.

Thank you volunteers!

Today marks the beginning of National Volunteer Week!

The UBC United Way Campaign relies on the generosity of nearly 300 volunteers who organize, promote, execute and celebrate the annual campaign!

The theme for National Volunteer Week 2024 is Every Moment Matters. It highlights the importance of every volunteer and each contribution they make at a moment when we need support more than ever. The sharing of time, skills, empathy, and creativity is vital to the inclusivity, strength, and wellbeing of our communities.

This week we will be showcasing some key moments from our campaign that align with the theme of Every Moment Matters – moments from planning, executing and celebrating the United Way Campaign and its many events and initiatives.
