We had a great end-of-year gathering today! Thank you to everyone in the community who showed up to mark a year of progress.
Classes continue this week at Creekside Community Centre, Monday and Wednesday 7.30-9pm. Vamos!

Wanted to try Capoeira, and you like arts? as part of Culture Days our group will be offering a FREE class this Saturday, September 23 rd at 11:00am. Class will be offered in the gymnasium of RayCam cooperative center. Please come to enjoy the day which also kicks off the culture days.

We're beyond excited to announce that our guest of honor for our batizado and graduation ceremony this year will be Mestre Morcego!

Hailing from Rio de Janeiro, Mestre Morcego has been training with Mestre Camisa since 1981. He is a highly sought-after teacher and regularly travels within Brazil and internationally to teach.

Mestre Morcego will be leading a series of master workshops in Vancouver on October 26-28, open to all ABADÁ-Capoeira students. We hope you will join us!

We had a blast at our first training session back last night. Thank you again to all the students who came out to train! See you at the next class on Monday at Creekside Community Centre.
