The Grade 8 and 9 Robotics classes got to participate in a Makers Making Change event with the Neil Squire Society. The Neil Squire Society aims to help people with physical disabilities live easier lives through technology. The boys were able to make a number of simple assistive devices for people within the Neil Squire community. These devices will help people overcome accessibility challenges.

The sun was shining as we gathered in the Peace Garden to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Meehan Music Hall—the first major project of the Encore Campaign, set to open in 2027. It was a special day filled with a real sense of community, gratitude, and excitement for what’s to come.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the ceremony so meaningful. From the student performances to the “wishing stones”, the site blessing by Fr. Frank, and the warm hospitality throughout, it was a memorable way to mark this important milestone.

During the event, President Daryl Weaver shared that we’ve now raised $10.4 million toward our $14 million goal—an incredible step forward as we continue working to enhance our campus for future generations.

We’re so grateful to everyone who has supported this vision so far, and we’re excited to see the Meehan Music Hall begin to take shape.

The students of Mr. Jung’s Life Sciences 11 classes recently visited the Cheakamus Centre near Squamish for a 2-night field trip. Surrounded by lush forests and river habitats, students participated in hands-on interactive outdoor field studies, focusing on pond and forest ecosystems, birds, salmon, and farms. They return to the classroom with plenty of new knowledge, and a greater sense of appreciation for the natural world around us!

During Holy Week, we had the opportunity to reflect and learn about the journey of Jesus.

As our Elementary School students walked through the stations of the cross, students and staff were reminded of the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us and were moved to contemplate our own lives and how we can better live out our faith.
