Merged Elaine Brewer-White, Artist embossing technique. Grateful for permission in using her stamp. conner burns taught me how to alter rim in a way I’d never seen prior my wk MISSA ☀️ International Summer School of the Arts I combined their techniques with my slab and thrown coil. Normally, I would’ve used Tyvek in a circle to protect the image as I adult do this technique with screen printing and stencils . But didn’t have Tyvek available at wk long workshop, so I cut a piece of thin foam into the internal dimensions of the plate. This absorbed the water as I threw the coil so the texture was not compromised whatsoever shockingly the experiment worked. this price will be donated for Missa auction 2027. And by the way, they’re having an auction this coming Thursday evening. As a part of their gumbo night fundraiser. Check out their website for more information. missa.ca
