In Loving Memory of an alumni staff member:
Mr. William Antonio Corrado Azzi

Mr. Azzi taught math, economics, and business for more than 30 years at Sir Charles Tupper, Centennial, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody Senior Secondary Schools, as well as at Lahr Senior School in Germany. In the evenings and on weekends, he worked as an accountant for many small businesses, particularly those owned by Italian immigrants.

In Loving Memory ❤
Mr. (Bill) William Charles JEFFERS
August 10, 1933 - November 9, 2022

In Loving Memory of a Tupper Legend who was known to many of us. It is with a very sad heart that I announce the passing of our Coach, Teacher, CoWoker, Friend and Family member ... Mr. Jeffers. For many of us, we had the honour to see him and his wife Barbara (Nikki) at the Tupper 60th Reunion back in October of 2019.

In the Province newspaper, on November 18, 2022 this was posted.

Bill passed away peacefully after a lengthy hospitalization ending with pneumonia. He was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara and survived by his sons Scott and Craig; his daughters Dauna and Karen, his stepsons Chris and Randy and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Peter Capadouca and Sid Iwata long time friend will miss lunches with Bill. His wife, Nikki, is left to mourn him, miss him and love him forever.

Bill's happiest days were at Sir Charles Tupper Secondary School where he taught for 41 rewarding years. He was never happier than when he was making school a fun place for all. Bill knew, when he was in kindergarten that he wanted to be a teacher. He liked school so much he wanted others to have fun at Tupper. He started too many clubs and teams to count with fun and mostly appropriate activities and recruited or twisted teacher's arms to sponsor these activities. If Bill was looking for you, you knew he had a job for you and he made sure you enjoyed it with the kids. Bill loved to dance and had a great time at noon hour sock hops with his students even though the early administrators disapproved. He had his grade 12 boys sit on the floor for story time "once upon a time there was Mr. Electron..." These big, sometimes tough boys were enthralled.

Bill was a very sociable person and talked to everyone he came in contact with including people in front and behind in the grocery store line. Rest in peace, Bill, you are loved by all who knew you and gazed on your wonderful smile and sparkling blue eyes.

Thank you to everyone who was kind enough to make comments about Mr. Eggert in either the Tupper Super Group or the Memorial Group .. I copied many of them and created a poster which was part of Mr. Eggert's Celebration of Life yesterday .. the Service was beautiful . nice to learn so much about him, reconnect with other Tupper Alumni students and administrators (I'll post an album soon) and have an opportunity to honor his life. This poster and many other photos of his life were seen by many family and friends .... and mostly appreciated by the family. On behalf of the Eggert Family .. thank you. The Tupper Tiger Spirt is much alive ..
