A climate-change risk analysis for world ecosystems
We quantify the risks of climate-induced changes in key ecosystem processes during the 21st century by forcing a dynamic global vegetation model with multiple scenarios from 16 climate models and mapping the proportions of model runs showing forest/nonforest shifts or exceedance of natural variabili...

USAID is a programme created from 2011-2017 to help with Asia Pacific adaptation. This resource is truly incredible, since it gathered a lot of information on many relevant topics and tried to integrate knowledge transfer. I checked out some of their links, and they were truly helpful, so give it a read!

Has anyone heard of RECOFTC? They are an international association that aim to help local communities actively manage their local forests. In many cases, local people may not have all the knowledge needed to achieve the optimal goal of economic and environmental benefits. Associations like RECOFTC can help them understand the ways in which they can use their local resources.

Another side to the Asia-Pacific adaptation issue: how can we engage with political ecology given that we have so many issues to tackle? An interesting read, given that as the article point out, there is little media coverage right now to help report the severity of the cases.

For a lot of Asia-Pacific countries, funding is a big concern since we live in a capitalistic society centred around personal economic gain. Expanding international climate finances may just be the key to becoming one step closer to curbing climate change.
How to expand international climate finance investments
This is the 'golden era' of international climate finance. ADB's Nathan Rive shares his advice on how countries can successfully apply for funding to climate-proof themselves for the future.
