We’re so excited to announce our new human-powered text & chat services!

In addition to email and phone, you can now contact S*x Sense and speak to a sexual health expert over text and webchat. It’s our same free, confidential, and AI free service—now with more ways for you to get in touch with us :)

Text and chat services are available from Tuesday to Friday between 2-9 pm PT, while call and email services remain available from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 9 pm PT. Learn more or contact us now by heading to sexsense.org!

Providing q***r-inclusive sexual health education isn’t just for the benefit of 2SLGBTQIA+ students—it benefits all learners in the classroom.

Dr. Jess Lougheed holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology and has academic expertise in topics related to adolescent development, emotions, family dynamics, mental health, and stress. Some of her recent research focuses on disparities in access to affirming and inclusive sexual health education. Join her as we discuss how disparities in accessing affirming & inclusive sexual health education can benefit all students and techniques to build q***r-affirming lesson plans and delivery styles!

Options is proud to announce that we are piloting new youth sexual health clinics in Tofino and Salt Spring! These clinics will be piloting the co-designed, youth-centered sexual health care model published last month in the BC Youth S*xual Health Evaluation Report.

The first pilot youth clinics is opening today in Tofino and offers drop-in services for youth up to age 29. The clinic will be open for the first 3 Tuesdays of the month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. For more information about this clinic, visit the link in our bio!

Providing comprehensive sexual health education is about so much more than delivering lessons—it requires intentional systems, accessible resources, and collaborative relationships that support educators and meet the diverse needs of all students.

Chris Billingham (she/they) is a q***r, mixed European/Cree-Métis educator, and the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility) Coordinator for Chilliwack School District, where they lead district-wide initiatives focused on sexual health education, SOGI-inclusive education, and anti-racism. Chris is also a BCTF facilitator, sexual health educator with SARAVYC, and a 1st year PhD student in Child, Youth, Family and Community Studies at UVic.
