welcome to Every Child Can Read Team 1
We are a group of former elementary school teachers aiming to make sure every K-3 child can read. Schools unfortunately do not have the resources to provide every child with a progressive reading scheme, and to complicate matters, the levelled books in our public libraries can cause confusion. Level 1 from one publisher may be appropriate for a grade 1 reader, but level 1 from another publisher may be better suited for grade 3.
Our tutors will meet you and your child at select public libraries in Vancouver to assess your child's reading ability, and provide resources and support. For full details of our services and fees email [email protected]
We hope in the coming months to have fully developed team 2 to provide resources and support for grade 4-7 students too.
