Our last meeting was quite special. Vincent took us on a therapeutic journey into the past, helping us think outside the box about our true passions and dreams.

We wrote some of them down.

There will be no meeting on Monday, Oct. 13 due to the thanksgiving holiday.

🎤 “I froze. Completely.”

The mic was on. The lights were bright.
And my mind? 🧠 …blank.

I had prepared. Rehearsed. Practiced in front of a mirror.
But when it was time to speak, all I could think was:
“Everyone is staring at me.” 👀

That was my first time speaking in public.
It wasn’t perfect. It wasn’t polished.
But it was the start of something.

📅 Week after week, I kept showing up.
At Toastmasters, I didn’t just learn how to speak.
I learned how to connect.
To inspire.
To lead.

Now, when I step up to the mic, I still feel the nerves—
But I know how to ride the wave 🌊

If public speaking makes your heart race, your palms sweat, or your thoughts vanish into thin air…
You’re not alone. And you’re not broken.

✅ You just need a safe space to grow.
✅ Encouragement to keep going.
✅ And a community that celebrates every “um,” pause, and breakthrough.

That’s what Toastmasters is.
And that’s why we keep coming back.
