As January is Mental Wellness Month we thought it would be timely to share some aspects of life that we may not realize affects our wellness overall. And for those that did know all of these 8 dimensions of wellness, may this serve as a reminder for you to care for yourself in areas that maybe needs some extra care. 💚

At REV, we believe that being intentional in taking care of yourself in the different areas is an important part of sustaining yourself.

Be kind to yourself. ✨

What areas do you need some extra care in?

Meet the newest member of our team, Tania 💚

Tania (she/her) has recently completed her studies in Counselling Psychology for her MA at Simon Fraser University. 🧠 Currently, she is in the final stretch of finishing up her research for her Master’s focused on how ex-prisoners make meaning of their lives after they reconcile with those they’ve harmed and rejoin their communities. Tania’s mantra is that it is NEVER too late. She believes this wholeheartedly, that it is never too late to shift directions, seek growth, and redefine your life. 💚

Some areas that Tania works in include overcoming relationship, family, and intergenerational trauma, working with adults who have experienced abuse or neglect, rebuilding self-esteem, and developing healthy boundaries. Tania will also be leading some of our group therapy opportunities launching in the new year! 🤝

Tania believes that healing happens when we learn to meaningfully re-integrate past wounds into the present without having to re-experience the past. Seeking to help you develop a deeper understanding of challenges you may face, Tania works to co-create new skills as well as tools that work for YOU. 🌿

To book with Tania or inquire about group therapy opportunities, you can contact us via email, DM, or by phone at (604)-337-6577. ✨
