Six months ago, I started a new career as a Talent Sourcer at AmbiMi. As a mom of a LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈, I am lucky to be part of an organization that celebrates Pride Month.
I am still knittingAstor, just not teaching right now.😀
June marks Pride month in Canada. We take immense pride in standing strong beside pride!
Pride Month raises awareness and educates the population about LGBTQ+ matters. Part of this is working towards improving institutions and educational facilities so that all are safe places for LGBTQ+ people.
LGBTQ+ employees may have experienced discrimination and difficulties at some point during their working lives. It’s a company’s responsibility to educate their staff to respect one another to support a healthy professional work environment.

Pride Month is an opportunity to celebrate LGBTQ+ culture and progress towards equality over time whilst, remembering that we have more to do. Even as LGBTQ+ month comes to an end, this is our reminder that for us, caring doesn’t stop 🤗.

In 2014, I developed an interactive dog sweater pattern which take 6 measurements of the dog and makes a custom fitted garment. It took some relearning on my part, but I am glad the pattern's formulas still work!
I am happy Mochi now has an original knittingAstor sweater in her extensive wardrobe collection.
