A This Is Wine School OG alternative class is back at the end of the month: All About B U B B L E S! 🫧🥂

As far as we’re concerned, the only thing better than bubbles to start off a class is a class that’s all bubbles, all class! If you are a sparkling wine disciple, or if you’ve only dipped your toe into the Prosecco and Champagne waters, this is the class for you.

We’ll taste five different sparkling wines and dive into the fascinating history of what makes them special- including how they’re made and how to tell different styles apart.

This is a two-hour class from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 28th at 265 E Pender St in Chinatown, Vancouver.

Must be 19+, sign up in bio!

Mark your calendars! ✍🏻 Our headliner series is back on Thursday, June 11th! Join us for an hour of storytelling and farming discussion with Aaron Godard, winegrower and fruit farmer from Scout Vineyards winery in the Similkameen Valley, then stick around for a glass or two as we transform the classroom into a wine bar.

ℹ️ The event starts at 6 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 265 E Pender St., in Chinatown, Vancouver.

🍷Each ticket includes four samples of Scout’s wines, served to guide the one hour of conversation. After the class, wines by the glass are available for purchase at an additional cost (but fairly priced!). There will also be a chance to buy off-sales bottles to take home, too! We hope as many people as possible will have a chance to meet Aaron so expect lots of standing room once the wine bar portion of the evening begins.

Must be 19+, tickets in bio!

Join us for Deep Cuts Vol.1 on Italy! Happening Thursday, May 21st from 6 to 8pm. 🇮🇹🍷

👉🏻 With over 500 officially registered indigenous grape varieties and counting, Italy easily tops the charts for range in the wine world. It is a special wine-producing country to us because for all the well-known wines (Brunello, Barolo, lookin’ at you!) there are infinitely more lesser-known styles and cool, unknown pockets, and often those styles are what excite us most!

Whether you know the Italian greatest hits and want to learn more, or are just curious to find fun new bottles to try, this class will take you on a road-trip through the sunshine, mountains, and Mediterranean coastline that make Italian wine super special. We’ll taste through five wines that we hope become your new favourites.
