We seem to be caught in a continual cycle of trying to protect what we have, even though it never seems to be enough. We’re constantly faced with accepting a glass that’s half full or half empty. But isn’t it time we also talked about our aspirations for our public schools? What would a glass filled to overflowing look like? Let’s talk about it together.
The Institute for Public Education/BC (IPE/BC), a non-profit and non-partisan organization, is conducting a community engagement research project to find out British Columbians’ hopes and dreams for our public education system. IPE/BC has already heard from hundreds of people across BC and will be publishing a report with recommendations to use in advocating for public education throughout the province.

Kamloops! We are bringing in butterfly hatching kits!
We work with a Canadian supplier to make sure our baby caterpillars are as healthy as they can be when they arrive and you have a great hatching experience! You'll receive everything you need to hatch painted lady butterflies you can release in your backyard or in a park!
This is an amazing family activity to do, and you can feed and hold your butterflies until you release them! They grow so quickly and you get to experience all of the stages of the life cycle!
Kits must be pre ordered and the first order deadline is April 4th, so don't miss out!
You can choose your shipping date so it works for you. This is a super fun experience over spring and easter!
