📌 It’s IEP Season

If your child is heading into IEP (Individualized Education Plan) season, you may already feel the weight of meetings, forms, and uncertainty about whether your child is truly getting the support they need. You don’t have to figure it out alone. 💙

At Edify Learning Spaces, we make it easier for families by:
✅ Matching your child with experienced tutors (all with Canadian classroom backgrounds and 3+ years supporting diverse learners).
✅ Offering individualized support tailored to your child—not cookie-cutter tutoring.
✅ Qualifying for provincial funding if your child has an autism diagnosis.

💡 This means your family can access trusted, vetted educators who truly understand your child’s needs—and funding may already be available to cover the cost.

📲 Visit our website to explore matching options and see how we can support your family this IEP season - link in the comments.

Because every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and capable of thriving.

🧡 You Are Not Alone 🧡

Parenting a neurodivergent child can sometimes feel isolating. The playdates that don’t happen, the invitations that never come, the moments when others just don’t seem to understand—it can be hard.

But here’s the truth: You and your child belong. 💙

💡 Ways to Break the Cycle of Social Isolation:
✔️ Find Your Community – Whether online or in-person, there are parents who understand. Seek out support groups, parent networks, or inclusive events.
✔️ Redefine Connection – Friendship doesn’t have to look like playdates. It can be a shared interest, a comforting routine, or a safe space where your child feels accepted.
✔️ Celebrate Small Wins – A smile, a moment of eye contact, or a conversation in their own way—these are all meaningful connections.

You’re not alone on this journey. There’s a whole community ready to support, uplift, and walk with you. 🤝 Stay tuned for Edify's Community Page...

💬 What’s one way you’ve helped your child feel connected? Let’s share and support each other in the comments. ⬇️

Small wins aren’t small—they’re everything. 🌱✨

For autistic children, progress happens in tiny, meaningful steps. Trying a new food, tying their own shoes, or focusing through an activity—each one deserves to be celebrated! 🎉

💡 Why small wins matter:
✔️ Boosts confidence – Encouragement builds self-belief.
✔️ Strengthens learning – Positive reinforcement helps new skills stick.
✔️ Creates momentum – Every step leads to the next!

🔥 Try this today: Instead of saying “Good job!”, say “I love how you kept trying!” 💙

💬 What’s a small win your child had recently? Drop it in the comments so we can celebrate together! ⬇️

🔖 Save this as a reminder: progress is built step by step.

🔦Spotlight on Success: Liam's Journey

🚂Meet Liam, a bright 8-year-old who loves flags & trains. He lives in Nunavut and his parents moved there in the past 3 years. The parents suspected he was dyslexic but couldn't get the support they needed in time.

With personalized tutoring from Edify, Liam's reading skills have soared, and his confidence has blossomed. Every child has unique strengths; sometimes, they just need the right support to shine.

💻And yes, it happened all online. Our method works across the nation as we continue to match families from Nanaimo to Nunavut.

His parents say, " Liam is now interested in storytelling and problem solving. His reading skills have surprised us! He used to hate the idea of reading. Now, he uses reading to do what he enjoys. "
