Celebrating another successful term with our traditional lab dinner! π₯³
The VCL is a vision science lab in the Psychology Department of the University of British Columbia. The principal investigator is Ronald Rensink.
The UBC Visual Cognition Lab investigates visual intelligence - the way in which the human visual system uses the light entering the eyes to create a variety of perceptual experiences. We are interested both in exploring the mechanisms that carry this out, and the ways in which this knowledge can help with the design of effective visual displays.

Special shout out to Wendy Chai, our beloved lab manager and now VCL alumna, who has helped shape VCL into the lab it is today through her countless contributions. We can never thank her enough for all that she has done for the lab and wish her the very best for the future. Farewell, Wendy!
