"What makes you different from the other candidates running for co-pres?"

"I'm a boss."

I think for the most part uhill is a pretty great place to develop socially. Sure there's the rampant academic competition and worship of percentage points, but I feel that that uhill acts as a pretty good societal microcosm. I like to think that it's given me a pretty good taste for "real life". Uhill's devoid of a lot of the usual illusions of high school life. It's pretty good when it comes to bullying and cliques, and the emphasis on grades kinda curbs the care free hedonism that exists amongst most teenagers. You hangout in your little friend circles, but still are forced to interact with people you don't like. You have people who don't give a s**t about you. You have people who don't give a s**t about anything. There are people who are richer or smarter or more liked than you. People aren't morally bound from cheating or taking advantage of you. Adults always like to say "wait until you get to the real world," but I like to think that uhill had given me a pretty good taste of it already.

“Humanity was doomed from the start, but finding good people in the doomed humanity is always nice.”

"Badminton was a really good experience for me. When I first started, I wasn't that great. In Gr 10, I barely made it into the team. i kept playing and practicing and now, I'm the captain."

"How would you describe your personality?’

“I can be bubbly at times. I can also be cold towards people I don’t know, but when you get to know me, I’ll be weird and stuff.”

"I think the world wants me to change, but I don't think I'm ready yet."

“What was your motivation for becoming grade rep?"

“I really want to know the people in my grade better because we’re all new and I also want to be able to help them more”

“Yeah she works out, she may be short but she’s buff. “

"I think the best position to be is third place, cause you're in a good position without all the pressure of being in first and the expectations of being second. No one wants to be in third place when they're aiming for the top, that's why it's a good position."

"Tell me about a time where you had to speak up for something."

"I never had to speak up. I'm a happy person. Of course there are bad moments, but I always brush them off. I'm just, I'm the chillest person you'll know."

"What one word would you use to describe U-Hill and why?"

"I haven't been here very long but I think it's amazing, even though it's a cheesy answer, it's true"
