Vancouver's Chinatown turns into a two-day celebration this weekend for Light Up Chinatown!, hosted by the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation with hawker-style food stalls, local musicians, cultural performers and more! The West Vancouver waterfront comes alive today as the Harmony Arts Festival kicks off its run through August 9. Visitors can wander gallery exhibitions and outdoor art installations, catch live music from local and touring Canadian artists, and take in Dimensions, an exhibition by 2026 featured artist Tam Irving. Free and open to everyone, it's a chance for the whole community to gather around the artists and creative talent that shape the North Shore. We've been the festival's Presenting Sponsor for 26 years, and it remains one of our favourite ways to invest in the arts each summer.

Hosted by the Filberg Heritage Lodge and Park Association, the Filberg Festival returns tomorrow for three days of fine art, craft and live music overlooking Comox Harbour. This year marks a massive new chapter as international professional tennis returns to Vancouver, with world-class ATP and WTA action at Hollyburn Country Club from July 25 to August 1. Past champions on these courts include Elena Rybakina, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Leylah Fernandez and Bianca Andreescu.
