Stellar performances at the Summer Strings Playhouse concert where our five string ensembles Preludio, Concertante, Intermezzo, Sinfonietta, and Camerata (joined by some of our Adult Violin students) played classical masterpieces and beloved cinematic favourites.
Future of Excellence winner Yuki Kirikae (piano student of Dr. Sergei Saratvosky) took centre stage as the featured soloist in Bach’s Piano Concerto no. 5 and Hourod Rakhshanfar (cello student of Christopher Chan & Jonathan Lo) was the soloist for Giazotto's Adagio.
The night was capped off with the moving Chorale “Bist Du Bei Mir” from Bach’s Anna Magdalena Notebook. What an amazing sight to see as all 130 musicians united for the finale. Bravi tutti!
