Two reunions coincided with Homecoming last week as the Vancouver College Classes of 1986 and 1996 came together to celebrate their respective milestones.

No matter where life’s journey has taken us, there’s something special about coming back to where it all began—reuniting with old friends, sharing stories, and reliving the VC memories we made together.

Congrats, Classes of ‘86 and ‘96!

VC Alumni Toronto Chapter supporting the Fighting Irish! Organized by Co-Leaders Jackson Van-Pykstra ‘23 and Chris Farkas ‘92, the event took place last Saturday in the heart of The 6ix. The group cheered on the boys during their Homecoming game, and carried on later into the evening.

If you are located in the Greater GTA, and would like to connect with fellow VC Alumni, do not hesitate to reach out to Jackson or Chris.

Information Regarding Making Claims From Recent Class Action Settlement

Following the settlement of the class action against Vancouver College, St. Thomas More Collegiate, and the Archdiocese of Vancouver, on July 30, 2026, there is now a process in place for anyone wishing to make a claim to receive a portion of the $30 million awarded.

If you wish to seek compensation, it is mandatory for you to complete the claim form. You will not be eligible to have your claim assessed or be compensated unless you submit a claim form to CFM Lawyers. Even if you had previous communications with CFM Lawyers when they were acting as class counsel, that previous communication did not start a claim or make you eligible for compensation. You must fill out and submit a claim form to have your claim considered. If you do not submit a claim form, CFM Lawyers will take that as an indication that you do not wish to seek compensation.

A copy of the notice has also been posted on the claims website:

This weekend we celebrated the traditions and friendships that make Vancouver College so special.

From those who were here decades ago, to the new generation making their own memories today, we are all connected by a unique brotherhood.

Thank you, VC Nation, for making Homecoming 2026 our best ever.
