The Sam Skelly Show EP 229: How to Integrate Safely After Breathwork and Plant Medicine Journeys with Ben Holt
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Experience the expansive power of “Dynamic Breathwork” for yourself as Breathwork Specialist, Ben Holt, guides us through a gentle visualization practice that releases all tension and stress from the body, so that you can expand into a feeling of lightness and ease instantly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ben developed “Dynamic Breathwork” as his signature technique after moving to Asia in 2017 to master a plethora of modern and ancient healing tools. This of course was not always his life. He came from a world where hunting, fishing, and making money were prioritized over health and wellness, but after being introduced to plant medicine — his life was completely changed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this episode, Ben and Sam talk about the importance of healing at your own pace and give you practical ways to integrate massive up-levels in consciousness that are often missing in breathwork and plant medicine circles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this episode, Ben Holt shares:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉The importance of self-consent with breathwork
👉A practice to amplify your positive vision through breathwork
👉How to master increasing consciousness and integrate transformational experiences safely

🔥New Podcast Episode🔥
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Sam Skelly Show EP 228: How to Activate Your Deepest Creativity with Maddy Moon
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maddy has mastered creativity in love, and how to create art out of your triggers. It begins by emptying out other people's stuff that is crowding and taking up space inside of you. Only when you are empty and hollow can you truly be full. It sounds counterintuitive doesn’t it? Maddy has recently stepped powerfully into Ohso’s concept, in his book “Creativity”, that to be a truly creative person you must be like bamboo. Only when you are hollow can we receive and make beautiful things. It often takes stillness, boredom and even scheduling time in your day to simply be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maddy attributes plant medicine as the catalyst for her growth. It has taught her so much about suffering and grace. It was also the medicine that forced her to stand in her power and say no to outsourcing to others, and giving away her power. It was the medicine that caused her to lose her footing so she could clearly hold her masculine. Sam and Maddy discuss when you should or should not look to plant medicine, and how to feel it is right for you.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Further into this episode, Maddy shares on:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉How to tap into the infinite flow of creativity
👉Plant medicine & spiritual growth
👉How to strengthen your masculine & feminine energies

What does HOME feel like to you?

You know that warm, fuzzy feeling we have that's just like a sense of, "Ahhh, I'm home. This is home. This is my haven." There's a calmness in your heart and lightness in your mind. An epic sense of safety and certainty and peace.

That magical feeling is created within FIRST, then amplified by how you choose to spend your time. In every moment, you have the ability to feel "at home." It’s a feeling that starts in the heart and percolates throughout your body. A feeling that allows us to love deeper, connect stronger, and feel lighter.

So focus on creating HOME internally first. Soften into your heart and trust your body to guide you to this feeling.

It’s always there and always available for us. ❤️

Not gonna lie, we're fans of chewing, especially if it's tacos 😉
⠀
Seriously though - dieting is not doing you any favors.
⠀
Did you know that binge eating is a direct result of food deprivation?
⠀
So all those fad diets, food rules, and crazy restrictions - they actually cause you to freak out and binge. They are like a big ole red flag to your mind and body that famine mode has been activated, which triggers your monkey mind to go into food obsession mode.
⠀
Ever wonder why as soon as you start a (restrictive) diet, you immediately obsess over all the "bad" foods you "can't have"???
⠀
It's time to STOP the madness.
⠀
👉Stop with the rules.
⠀
👉Stop with the restriction.
⠀
👉Stop with the diets.
⠀
You deserve better ❤️

HERE’S WHY FEELING IS YOUR TICKET TO FREEDOM⠀✨
⠀⠀
When you allow yourself to FEEL⠀
⠀⠀
You give yourself permission to HEAL. 🙏🏻⠀
⠀⠀
I teach this in all of my programs.⠀
⠀⠀
The only way that you can expect to heal,⠀
⠀⠀
The only way that you can expect to experience love,⠀
⠀⠀
The only way that you can expect to experience fulfilment⠀
⠀⠀
Is through first getting to the core of your pain⠀
⠀⠀
And extracting all the knowledge that it’s trying to tell you. 💆🏻‍♀️⠀

That's because dieting is no way to live.
⠀
You can cycle through every fad diet in existence, but they will never lead to lasting change. They definitely won't lead to happiness.
⠀
It's not about rules and restrictions. It's not about the "right diet." It's not about "being perfect." And it's not about willpower.
⠀
It's about healing the core issue of WHY you struggle with food and body in the first place. It's about digging into emotions and beliefs.✨
⠀
Until you do that work - epic self-discovery and healing - sustainable transformation will continue to elude you. ❤️
