📢 Industry Update for Immigration Professionals
The new College Act Regulations were published in the Canada Gazette on May 6, 2026, and will come into effect on July 15, 2026.
The Regulations support the College’s regulatory and public protection mandate and include the establishment of a Compensation Fund, with additional by-laws and supporting frameworks to follow.

📢 Reminder for RCICs and RISIAs: The College's 2026 Annual Renewal is now open.
Complete your Annual Renewal Form through the College Portal between June 1 and July 1, 2026. Failure to renew by the deadline may result in fines and possible licence suspension.
With the June 30 CPD deadline also approaching, now is a good time to ensure your professional obligations are up to date.
