I am currently accepting students for online Orton Gillingham tutoring.

I am a certified teacher with over 15 years of elementary classroom teaching experience. I have worked in diverse classrooms, from IB World private schools to inner city schools in the UK.

More recently, I have enjoyed working with children as a resource teacher, creating and implementing individualized education programs for students with special learning needs. I have found this to be incredibly rewarding, and as a result, decided to specialize in this area. In 2019 I completed Orton Gillingham training through Fraser Academy and am now focused on supporting children with reading, spelling, and writing difficulties so they can meet their full potential.

Orton Gillingham is a highly individualized, systematic and multi-sensory approach used to explicitly teach literacy when reading, writing, and spelling does not come easily to individuals.

As part of my service I conduct comprehensive testing and provide a detailed individualized plan for each child, along with regular feedback and progress reports.
