Not quite four weeks. I think they look pretty good for their first time (trying??) stacking.

Anyone need some puppy spam? The lightest and the darkest. A study in contrasts.

Your daily dose of BBB--big, bad, Bones! He's a chunker. But sister Seven currently outweighs him.

Everyone is gaining and Saphira was absolutely made for this

I love bone broth day. Ray has gone to get 50+ pounds of locally farmed beef bones. I add healing herbs, oils, mushrooms, and veg. The benefits of bone broth are significant and the shift in my senior dogs, in particular, is quite dramatic. Check out these benefits and consider adding bone broth to your dogs diet.

Swoon dog of the day. "Dayton". This super-typey, correct Mojo grandson exemplifies how Mojo became one of the best Of Course stud dogs ever. Clean coated, superbly angled, sublime aspect ratio, neither over nor underdone in any feature, Dayton is the poster child for everything I expect to see in a well-bred RR.

For those who include looking at littermates to determine quality when making breeding decisions, you will be hard pressed to find better, more consistent siblings than those in the May x Texas pairing.

Saphira showed her heart out at the specialties and made every cut at the RRCBC specialty and won best brace in specialty with her mother Shiva, under the expert hand of Jenna Penney.

I had a lovely chat with one of my puppy people today about, among other things, fill and run of rib. This is for both judges and breeders. Cathedral fronts and herring guts are faults in our breed, but we are seeing a lot of judges putting up dogs with these faults when correctly structured dogs are in the ring. Chest should come to the elbows. Fill should exist between the elbows when viewed from the front. And run of rib should be gradual and comprise 2/3 of the length between front and rear legs, while length of loin should be 1/3. Thank you for coming to my TedTalk :-)
